Van Thuy Hoang won the Excellence Award in the 23rd Graduate School Academic Awards

We are thrilled to announce that Van Thuy Hoang, who recently earned his doctoral degree from the Network Science Lab (NS Lab), has received the Excellence Award (우수상) at the 23rd Graduate School Academic Awards (제23회 대학원 학술상) ceremony.

His award-winning research, titled “Mitigating Degree Bias in Graph Representation Learning With Learnable Structural Augmentation and Structural Self-Attention,” addresses critical challenges in Graph ML by proposing a novel framework to mitigate degree bias in graph representations.

Following his Best Award (최우수상) at the 22nd awards last year, this consecutive recognition highlights NS Lab’s continuous leadership and academic excellence in the field of Graph Neural Networks (GNNs). Congratulations to Van Thuy Hoang and Professor Oh-Jun Kwon for this outstanding achievement!

NS Lab will continue to push the boundaries of Graph AI and lead the future of intelligent systems.
